Juan Paolo Q. Panagsagan
Paolo Panagsagan is a Filipino pianist, educator, and performer whose musical journey began at the age of six. A Cum Laude graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Music, he trained under esteemed mentors including Prof. Carolyn Cheng and Prof. Carmencita Arambulo. Paolo has performed extensively in local and international concerts, including music festivals in Japan, Indonesia, Italy, China, Europe, Russia, and most recently concluding his 4 month US-Canada and Taiwan tour with the Male Ensemble Philippines (MEn).
Besides being a seasoned performer, Paolo has earned top prizes in prestigious competitions since he was 13 years old. He competed and won in the National Music Competition for Young Artists, the Leonor Kilayko Piano Competition, and the numerous PTGP Competitions honing him in becoming the pianist and educator he is now. He is now retired from touring and focusing on his mission to make the world a little bit better through piano education. His goal is not only to create award-winning musicians but more importantly, good persons that are molded by their learned habits and their personal love for music.
